Hello everyone,

I have .ai files that a client wants converted from rgb colors to pantone colors in illustrator. I dont see any options for this. Is this even possible?

thanks for your quick response marcus.

I realize I have to do it manually piece by piece but I don't see any option for pantone colors all i see is the cmyk, rgb and hbs (ithink) ones. Where do you get the option to have pantone? I am using illustrator 10.

From Memory it's under the Window>swatches>pantone coated. (or swatch library or something along those lines)
this will make a swatch window popup you then simply type the number you want which will highlight in the window, then drag it into you swatches palate with will activate it for use.

Hope that made sense

Marcus
