Hi. I am running SCO Openserver 5.0.6. Due for an upgrade but has not happened yet. The SCO Server crashes every so often with a message "PANIC: Lock timeout trying to dump 999000 pages Kernel trap" and various other similar messages. Can anyone suggest what the problem may be? Any assistance is much appreciated.

depends what the "various other messages" are and what the number of the kernel trap is.
does it actually create a "dump image" in the swap device?
if it does create the image and the kernel trap is 0x00..0E
you have a hardware problem... memory or hd controller are the most likely culprits. Has anything been changed/added recently?
