Hey,

Firstly Thank you to everyone who has helped me from here to get my new system up and running, it is in it's first testing phase and it has reduced the time we spend on tasks from hours to minutes.

My new problem is that i have an collegue that we work with who needs to use this Macro based system, however he is saying that because of the Antivirus software he has on his system "Panda Titanium" that it is deleting the file everytime he tries to access it due to the Macro being seen as a virus.

I am not one to call people a liar ect without proof, so has anyone else come up against this problem as i never have before and this collegue is known for exagerating white lies to get out of using new systems.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Jason

Hey,

Basically i have created a Userform in word 2003 that filters information entered in to a word template. then i use macro's to activate styles in that word document.

According to the collegue the anti virus deletes the macro out of the word document.

When does the delete occur?

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]

Hey,

When he tries to open the file. I have tried this on several systems and never had this issue

What do you mean "deletes the macro out of the word document"?

Do you mean the written procedure in the code module is actually deleted?

I doubt this very much. I can see an antivirus preventing action, but i seriously doubt that it goes into the code module and deletes text.

Please explain.

Isn't it funny after me confronting the culprit again he has magically been able to use the macro enabled template after all....
