I need to change the names on the displays of what I think are VB42233 sets. or some model like that? I did not write it down.

I need to log in and change names. Please help if you can. Thanks.

cwc3 No I do not have the Docs. I looked online but one set is hard to read, missing stuff, the other I did not find what I needed. Thanks

I went to that link, the pages are incomplete? cwc3, if you could get me to the right page or section, that would be nice. Thanks

OK guys/ gals. I copied page 377 from the manual and a couple of other pages. I went back to site entered programming, cleared old names, then tried to enter new characters from Ext. 100 ( PORT 1) using the regular
VB- 44233 B instrument/ set.

I was unable to enter alpha characters. I did not have an overlay and I ass umed I could just use the dial pad
( like a Nortel ) and enter letters. Well no such LUCK.

If any one could help further I would appreciate it.

Thank you!!

LOL Was the "couple of other pages" page 376? How's that DSS console working for you?

It seems there is a way to do it from any station on any phone, but I have not figured that out.

The manual states see Section 700 for Feature operation. That apparently is where you can enter names from any phone. I searched through the document with a "control F" feature and did not find the actual Section 700.

Anybody know where to find that?
Thank you.

LkEErie, thank you very much. I do not know why the Section 700 was not in the previous DBS link you had posted.
The user guide link posted by cwc3 was hard to read but it mentioned that the task was doable.
Thanks again all for your help and input.
Telemarksman out!
