Hi,
I'm using a new windows 10 HP laptop.
Have installed the Unified Maintenance Console version 7.8.1.1 and
every time I try to use a drop down menu the system crashes.
Is windows 10 not compatible with this console or I have to
modify some parameters on the laptop?
I appreciate any thoughts.

[Release Note V7.8.2.0 R3]
- Fixed the problem that application freezes in selecting pull-down menu in Windows10.
- Default password can not be set as System Password in Quick Setup.

Thank you Mike,
Please where can I find the Release note V7.8.2.0 R3 ?
Thanks in advance.

I just wanted to let you know, I got the Unified Console working with windows 10 X64
using a laptop HP Elite 840 G4.
Thanks Mike K

I appreciate all the help received and wish you all a great year 2018.

My maintenance console kept freezing until I changed the settings under System Properties, Advanced Tab, Performance in the Advanced Virtual Memory area to not automatically mange the page file size but create a custom size of the recommended value as described in this page.

I just got a new Dell Latitude 7480 laptop and installed v7.8.1.1r15 and it crashes anytime I touch the profile or system type buttons.
My machine is a Win 10-64 bit ... same as my old Latitude E6430. I tried installing as an admin and running as admin. Still having that issue.
Does the Panasonic portal have a newer version? I only see 7.8.1.

Thanks,

Hey Tom,
Try to run the program compatibility,
Right click the PBX unified icon and follow the steps to run this compatibility program.
I suggest to set it as using windows 8.
Also have uploaded all updates of windows 10.
Check also the (Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package X86)
I tried all these and it is running a lot better.
Only from time to time it freezes when I am programming flex buttons and or group members.

Thanks Lineman 1960. I've tried Windows 7 and 8 compatibility modes, but as soon as I touch the Profile Name or PBX Model icons ... dead!
All Win 10 updates have been installed, so that should be OK.
I'll try Visual C++ next!

Nah, the Visual C++ didn't help, either. I'm at a loss. I guess I can always install XP virtual server on my laptop and run it that way.

This is what you need to do. I know it does not seem logical but it works.
