Panasonic TVP100

I have a Panasonic TVP 100, the hard drive has failed.

I have cloned a hard drive from another TVP, put the hard drive into the faulty unit.

It boot's up and goes through the standard wizard.

After a short time an error message pop's up stating the hard drive is full!

I know it's not as it's a 6gb drive.

Am I missing something, or is the hard drive mapped to the TVP unit itself, some how, if so can this be cloned?

Any help please
