I have a TDE200 and a TDE100 linked via a fiber link. 2 Buildings on same property. Two different addresses.
TDE200 has the LCOT that all calls are routed through. 2016 is the year that Michigan schools with Multi Line telephone System needs to comply with e911 service. Being able to identify where the call was made from. Also the 911 without dialing 9. Both ways 911 and 9 911. I do not see this system being able to send out the extension as part of the caller ID. The only option I can see is Panalog which could alert via email or texting. Never used it and only read about it. Is this the only option. With it being 2 systems do I need 2 separate Panalogs? If I were to go the SIP trunk route, this would be possible but would need to register each extension through the PSAP system. Anyone had experience in this? Any advice most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
One other question, if the system was registered via another dealer which is no longer available and we need to update firmware and re-register is this something I can do now that we are a dealer?

you could nave a few trunks on system A that only system B can dial out on or have 1 line set on system A for 911 calls from system B to use only

thanks for the feedback. Pansonic at one time was my "primary" work back in 2009. Since then I have moved on to Hosted VOIP systems and have not logged into a Panasonic unit for a few years. At the time I had not and still have not had much exposure to the DSP configs and how it can be used. What I would like to do if possible is use/register 3 trunks and have those for 911 only per location. Building 1 , 2 and 3.
I have a DSP card in each TDE the 200 and the 100. Both units have DSP64s. At the moment I am using 16 Virtual IPtrunks between the 2 units. I have never used the DSP for anything else and was wondering if there are enough resources within the DSPs to also register SIP trunks. What about licenses. Where would I look to see these. Are there any demo configs out there I could look at. I also need to update the firmware as they are well behind on updates. this would mean re-registering but these units were registered with a company that no longer exist. Is this some I can still do as a registered dealer and tech?
Any advice well appreciated. Thanks

what is the 3 trunk ?
and what is the use of 911
what is your outside dialing pattern?
you have 16 IP/SIP trunk per PABX

You have loads of resources on the DSP64. you can either get 3 more licenses or reduce the number of channels between the sites to 13 and use the other 3 as trunks.

we don't register systems in Ireland, so don't know what you have to do for that side, but if you are still registered I am sure you can take over that site on Panasonic system

Thanks for the info. Still trying to get time to look into this with Panasonic. Big projects keeping me from this but i will have sometime next week. I seem to remember when installing, I was informed I had a lot or resources and was a bit of an overkill for what I actually needed at the time (plan for growth :) ). In the process of getting a few test SIP trunks for each location to visit site. This will give them the e911 calling and location but not the actual room or extension I am told that is needed. Hoping Panalog will do this for me. Send an alert to designated persons. Just not sure if I need 2 Panalog systems or 1 since i have TDE200 and 100 but all calls go thru the TDE200.
