Hi All,

I'm a Network/Systems Admin who inherited a Panasonic TDE100 PBX and TVM50 VM. Not my normal bailiwick but I've managed so far. I set up a custom service message where they can dial the extension of one of two receptions, if they don't they get forwarded automatically and both ring.

The voicemail is set up, they share a mailbox and I configured a button to light up and another to dial directly to the shared mailbox. My problem is the way it does this.

I want it to go directly to the mailbox on no answer, busy, or night mode. Instead it plays a message saying "Press 1 to leave a message" then plays the personal message they recorded. It doesn't do this for any of the other extensions, all the other phones go straight to voicemail on no answer etc, is it because I set it up as a group? Is there a way to remove that message and have it go straight to the mailbox?

Thanks for any advice.

If the call is coming in to a group, say 601 then it will go to the mailbox of 601 on the voicemail. You can give a message waiting key on the two phones

If going to one extension directly it will go to that voicemail box.

So on the ddi/dil table where does the call point to when the call comes in?

Thanks for the response, let me clarify a bit:

The group works, the DDI/DIL points correctly to the group and routes the calls properly, the group shares a mailbox which works and I've set up a light and quick access button on each of the phones in the group. The issue is what happens on no answer or out of business hours.

When the timeout is reached and the call stops ringing, the first thing that someone calling the group, or the individual extensions in the group, hears, is an automated robotic prompt saying something along the lines of "We are unable to take your call, press 1 to leave a message." If they press one then they hear the custom voicemail message recorded on the mailbox and can leave their message like normal.

It's that automated press one message that I would like to get rid of if possible. It is only this group that gets that automated message prior to the being able to hear the custom message on the mailbox and leaving a message. If I call in and enter a different extension that is not part of the group and there is no answer, it will immediately go to that extension voicemail message without any additional input, and that is what I would like to set up for the main number's incoming group.

Thanks for your time reading this and sorry for the delayed response I have been out of the office for a few days.
