Hi
we are using Panasonic KX-TDA50g and Kx-TVA50G with Auto Attendant option.
problem is when someone calls in and listens to company greetings and punch in the option required (1 0r 2...) and if caller immidiately disconnects the call but it still keeps ringing on theose phones
we have tested it by calling ourself.call the main number listen to AA punch in option and dissconnect call immiduately but it still rings on the phones four times,
Is there any way so sytem understand that call has been disconnected not to ring on phones anymore or
any help with this be appreciated.
regards
G

This is also happening on two NCP500s I have installed. Telstra in their wisdom have remove reverse polarity in the network.
I have been told that there may be settings in the DISA setup that will disconnect the call.
Has anyone done this already that can help?
I'm heading out to both sites today to have a play.
Cheers

Hi Obt
Its a Drs Surgery and customers hold on until answered (usually) they get to hear OGM1 after 5 secs then OGM2 after 30 secs which then repeats. They want this to continue.
The phone system does not recognise that a customer has disconnected and continues to ring.

you could overflow the call into a disa asking to press 1 to contuniue to hold and disconect if no number is dialed, 1 will go back in to the group but this could put the call back to the start of the queue
