I'm new to the Panasonic Line, Seems like a good system.
I have a TDA50 with DT512 Phones. I just wanted a plain square system for CO lines. Someone calls the business, pick up the phone, yell hey Chris Line 2, and he picks it up.
So I thought in the programming using the Management console software, that there is exclusive hold and just hold, the latter hold being anyone can pick up the CO line.
It's set to hold, but the calls have to be transferred to Chris's DT512. Is this just how it is? get use to it and learn, or can the system be set to the way I want it.
Question 2:
I also have a loud bell ringer in the warehouse. I bought the DPH4 card for the relays and sensors, I have all the wiring connected. but I just need to be able to trigger the relay.
So is the only way to trigger the relay is to send a signal to the sensor?
I guess the signal would be up to 5 volts at a max of 100 ohms, +- or positive and negative.
And I would have to grab this signal from an extension port?
Or can it be done via TDA50's programming?
Thanks for any reply to my questions.
