Does anybody know if there are 2 separate intercept(to voice-mail) timers?

SCENARIO

Customers call in externally and get transferred to voice-mail if extension doesn't answer after 20 secs. However, if someone calls internally it takes 40 seconds to go to voice-mail....

Would like to keep both internal and external at 20 seconds... Any ideas how to correct this? Never had this difficulty before. Must be some embedded setting I'm over-looking?

There is a timer in the voice mail that is set to 20 seconds when the voice mail has control of the call (supervised transfer)And there is a timer for intercept routing in the TDA with a default of 40 seconds. So when an outside caller calls in and gets the AA the voice mail does a supervised transfer to the extension and uses it's timer unless you set extension transfer sequence to FXD then the voice mail would do a blind transfer and use the intercept timer of the TDA. When you call extension to extension the voice mail is not involved so the intercept timer goes into effect.

Hmmm... Currently I did change the default IRNA timer in the TDA30 from 40 seconds to 20 seconds. So is the problem (of extension to extension being 40 seconds to voice mail)in the TVM50? Should I being changing the extension transfer sequence from FX to FXD?
 
Did you change it in the extension settings or the system settings? You have have different IRNA times for different extensions. Also do you have the IRNA destination set? Leving it at 0 in the extension settings with default to the system timer.

Also I'm in the US and we don't have the TDA30 just the TDA50G not sure how much different the programming is.
