It has come to my attention that Panasonic System Cordless Phones (Dect and 2.4 Ghz as far as I know) (ie: KX-TCA385, KX-TD7685 etc.) Shut down after some time period.

Does anyone have any input on when or why this happens?

One of my techs had Tech Support tell him they would do it on a power failure if long enough to prevent the batteries from being dead on power restore but I can't get anyone at Panasonic to acknowledge this or even admit to the power down issue at all!

We had a few powering off before and had them replaced. Haven’t heard of it being a feature. I think it was an issue in the charging circuit
