Panasonic PBX KX-TDA100 Flexible Outside Line Button

Greetings all,

I am not quite certain if it is possible to configure one of the flexible outside line buttons on the KX-T7633 to light up when there is a message in the “General Voicemail” box? This is not her voicemail but a separate voicemail box where un-answered incoming calls goes to. Our pbx system is a Panasonic KX-TDA100. If anyone has performed this task, could you please post your instructions? This would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the Maintenance Console?
If so, set up a message wait button which corresponds to the General mailbox number (Assuming voicemail is a TVM or similar)

Press program button on the phone , press the free button, then use the arrows to scroll to message waiting while that is in screen enter ext no/ mailbox number and press autodial store
This will light up when a message is received and lift up handset and press it, it will bring you straight to the mailbox

You won't get 998 on a MWL- button

Cwc is correct, you would have to assign the operator or group as owner of 998 and have mw button for that
