I took over an old Panasonic PBX system used primarily for modem testing. It's analog, not the fancy digital ones they have now. Anytime I've had a problem with it, I just set the CPU card to mode #5, press reset, wait 10 minutes, Set it back to #0, press reset, wait 10 minutes. But this time the offline light is on and stays on. How do I get them back online? (already tried turning them off and on again)
I've tried connecting with a null modem cable but I could not get it to work! I tried this through Hyperterminal:
7200 baud, 8 bit, Hardware, Mark - saw this on another website
9600 baud 8-n-1 which is my normal go to.
Even Google can't come up with a lot of options for me. The documentation provided to me is minimal. HELP!
