Hi,

We currently have a Pansonic PABX, with 2 Incoming VOIP Lines, 2 incoming GSM lines, 1 incoming landline.

The system is:
KXtds200 PABX
KXT7533 phones
KW tda0141 Dect cell stations
KX tca 285 DECT handsets.

With Panasonic exiting the market and our DECT handsets beooming obsolete, we need to replace or upgrade the system.

All advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks

For example, PBX Yeastar P-series or S-series, with IP DECT W80DM.

Thanks Mike,

As youve probably guessed, our system is mostly analogue. Will the Yeastar systems work with the old analogue equipment, or will it be a complete wire pull and replacement of all fixed handsets too?

Thanks

Yeastar have SIP-analog gateways (FXS).
The gateways work perfectly with old analog equipment.

Thanks Mike, thats really helpful. Here is our exact architecture for reference:

Almost all of your equipment will only work with PBX Panasonic.
Unfortunately, Panasonic is leaving the market. I have no ideas.

I would recommend you integrate your Panasonic KX-TDA200 with an IP-Based system to enable you have a pain-free slow migration to VoIP.
It's what i have done for most large corporations here that were using Panasonic systems.
What would happen is that every Panasonic set that fails, you replace with a SIP-based handset rather than doing it all at once which you seem not to be comfortable with because of the cost implication.

For example, i have a client with Panasonic KX-TDA200 integrated to Sangoma PBXact which is seated at a remote site via PRI and the analog sets are gradually being replaced.

Emetrotel has support for Panasonic phones on their platform now.

I'll let you know, that at least in north america, NEC's indect doesn't work. Doesn't support half the features, and is very unreliable. One customer we have right now with 10 phones, drops average of 4 calls a day, in stupid little bursts. (They probably get 250 calls a day). NEC support was not very helpful with he issue.

I like NEC for Pana replacements, got loads out there now
Got hospitals using the NEC dect, very reliable.

CMUK, I don't want to get this thread offtopic, but curious, the nec dect, is it using the SV9100, SL2100, SV9300, or unverge blue?
And did you ever struggle with dropped calls on the NEC indect?

Fodrod, I have a mix of SL2100/SV9100 (both using InDECT) then we have some univerge bulue and SV9500 (don't think these are InDECT, I didn't install these)

And they all worked great for you no problem? Like I said they've been dropping calls like crazy on me, and the system will sometimes lock up
(setting the pbx to daily reboot fixed this) NEC support wasn't able to get me anywhere, though they did tell me not to use line keys or cap keys on the phones as somehow that sends too much data and confuses them. I will say though, version 1.60 made it alot better, from useless garbage to now just not a good product. (Nevermind the price)
Did you have any similar problems that were resolved or?

Anyhow, reply in the thread that I made before asking questions so we don't clutter here.
