Hi All,
Ref: Panasonic NS700 Ver.8.05
I have exported a .csv file for system speed dials and populated it with names and numbers. There are 432 (0 - 431) entries but it fails if i try and import all of them. I get the message "E000101: Value range error". However if I change the index to 1 - 368 (0-367)it imports successfully. 1 - 369 fails "E000101: Value range error" If I try and add in a series of batches 1- 368(0-367) is fine but the 2nd batch of 368 - 431 fails "E000101: Value range error".

If I try and add a new contact in to location 368 via the manager too 6.Feature Access - 1.System Speed Dial I get the "E000101: Value range error" again.
Is there a memory capacity issue here? I thought they could have 1000 x in central memory.

Any help would be appreciated
Regards
Mark

It could be a name with a unrecognised character or too long or something in the number

If you export the csv file does it have 1000 entries with dial= in number?

Hi Obt,
Sorry I have only just seen your reply.
It does have the dial= in the number. We started off with a couple of entries that had been added via the Config tool to give us a template with a format and then exported that. Dial= is there in all the vacant entries of the csv file. so we inserted 9123456789 after Dial= in each row of csv then imported back into the Pana. Was this correct?

Is the file extension the same?
I noticed most file change format when exported from .csv to .xlsx or e.t.c

Hi Omonat,
i think I managed to keep it as .csv delimited but will check again.
Thanks

Hi all,
Cracked it!!
There were some spaces at the end of a few of the phone numbers. What I did was click the binoculars at the top of the doc and search for a space. The first number with a space was low and behold 368 and a few others after that.

Mark

Great!, i hope your finding will help someone else avoid the same error next time
