Hi All

I have a Panasonic KX NS700 with 6 POTs CO lines & DISA/AA after the AA greating message is played and 0 is dialed for the operator/receptionist the outside party only gets an engaged tone but if 101 is dialed the call goes through fine, all aother extensions are fine. I could just change the message to tell the calling party to dial 101 instaed of 0 but I was just curions as to what would cause this. The system has been set up and working fine for several years. I've tried the usual reset and power cycle but no joy.

Thanks.

Well, AA has it's own destination for "0"-digit... Or.. Doesn't have.

Thanks

All incoming CO calls are directed to the AA 501, the message tells them that if they know the extension number they want they can dial it now if not dial 0 for the operator. This has been working without issue for the last several years, suddenly when you dial 0 for the operator its always engaged but the extension is not actually been used. dialing 0 still works normally when making internal calls.

Thanks

What do you have here?

Hi Ired

Thanks for your reply.

Yes this was the problem.

I still had ICD 601 set after I had removed all the extensions from that group, once I set it to 101 it worked.

Thanks very much for your help.

Best Regards
