Panasonic NS300 if trunk busy no busy tone but only SILENCE

Hello,

I have a Panasonic PABX Kx-NS300, unfortunately i only have a single trunk line for now
since we transfered our office. The single trunk CO line from the telephone provider is
connected to no. 3 of "DIL Table & Port Settings". All extensions were already setup
and are working fine. We used to dial 9 to have a dial tone to call outside the office,
my concern is that whenever a user is currently using the line to call outside or currently
on a call outside and another user would like to also call outside and she/he dial 9 nothing
will happen its just silence. I want to make it that if ever the line is busy it will sound
a busy tone or maybe if i could upload or setup a voice recording that line is busy please wait.
Can you help me where in the management console where i will set this up? Thank you.

You have to make OUS on CO card.

@Mike K / Ired, you guys mean that i have to go to port properly under slot
and there are 6 ports in there and in under connection i have to set the other
unused ports (except 3) into OUS instead of INS?

Yes, set OUS on ports not connected to lines.

@Mike K / Ired, thank you so much guys this solved my concern.
When i checked the settings, port 123 are INS, and port 456 OUS.
So i set all (except 3) to OUS. Now i realized the silence was
because the pabx is scanning or trying to connect to port 12 because
3 is busy she is thinking it has a live trunk line connected which
has not. What exactly is the meaning if OUS? is it "out of user service"
and INS "in service"? Also, is there a way i could change the busy tone
when the single trunk being used into a voice recording? Thanks a lot.

That's right.
OUS - out of service
INS - in service

The busy tone could be change under Sales Company password.
