I don't see the name coming in on that trace. We don't receive names on pri here so we have to put the names and numbers in the speeddials and it will pull the name from that, could that be the case on the old system

No. This is name coming from the carrier. The NS 700 is not providing the name, just number on an inbound call

Thanks,

I don't see the name in the trace, as we don't have this option in this country only thing I can see is
Calling Name Identification Presentation (CNIP) enables the calling party's name to be shown
on the display of the called party's telephone when a call is received.
This is one of the ISDN supplementary services. programmable from the Port Property - PRI Port

it is no by default on our systems

I bet I need to reboot after the change.

Here is the trace

CNIP is on in SUPP service. Still not showing name. Maybe AT&T is not sending it. Although the customer stated they were getting name

I looked at a trace on one of our systems and the display option is not on ours, you called from the same number on each trace and the hex is the same on display, looks like a short name. call in with a different phone and see if that changes, if it does it is properly the

Sorry I cant be any more help, but as I said before, we don't have this name service here and you maybe better off contacting Panasonic support in your area, I am sure they have come across this issue before

Thanks OBT. nothing we do adds the CLIP or CNIP item in the trace. Panasonic will have to tell us what the issue is.
