I have a network printer that will not take a new IP address.
When we initially installed it, it got an IP address from our DHCP. But, according to the manual, if the IP addresses have unlimited leases (which ours do), the printer disables DHCP once it gets an address.
Well, now we've changed our "network" and have a different scope of IP addresses, but this printer will not release the old IP address and get a new IP address. Since it won't do this, there is no way for me to communicate with the printer through the software that came with it. I've pressed and held the printer reset button, and even left the printer unplugged for two days. It still holds on to the old IP address. Anyone know any tricks. It is a Panasonic 7110 Laser, and the Panasonic website is useless.
