Hi,

I am having some issues with a delay to connect over a VPN (NCP - NS) (IPGW).

When calling from NS, works as expected.

When calling from NCP, there is a delay of between 8-10 seconds before you hear ringing.

I have had Panasonic Japan look at both configs and the response was that it all looks ok, must be a network issue.

As this set up is on a IPSEC VPN tunnel, I would of thought that the issue must be config.

They have asked me to run a wire shark trace and make some calls and send results.

I'm struggling with setting the NCP MNT port into 'mirror mode' in order to collate information.

Any help, please.

Does any one else think I need to set this up as a one look network?

Sounds like a dial plan on the ncp leadnumber followed by 29 digits is the default

Does the phone on the far end ring straight away or only when the ncp end starts to ring

Hi Obt
It's not the ars table, or the dn2ip digits.
Had Pana look at both sys configs, they say it's a network issue.

So need to run wireshark trace, just can't seem to work out how to put MNT port into mirror mode.
Any docs say it's in advanced port settings, but think that option was omitted for latter mpr versions.

Yes handset only rings once ringing tone is heard

Any ideas
