Customer has an NCP 500 running v.71104. They have a PRI 23 Card, using all 23 channels.
When not at their desk, they forward all calls to their cell number using the FWD all 9+cell number.
When you call their direct numbers, the cell phone rings almost immediately and the calls are connected.
However the calling party does not "hear" anything during the transfer. just dead air.
System is using music on hold and is set that sounds on transfer is music on hold.

What setting is available to change what the caller hears on external transfer?

is your exts cxlass of service set to allow external transfer?if using tva for the off net transfer try setting ext transfer sequence to FXD

The Class of Service is set to allow external Transfers. The calls do transfer out correctly through the PBX. The voicemail is not involved in this case. However the Caller hears dead air while the transfer is taking place.

The call does not get answered by the system until it gets a connect siginal from the pri so it will hear ringing from network until answered by the cell phone

It may be put through to the sound or the ring back tone but the system does not answer and then hold the call on the system until call answers
