Panasonic kxtvs50 changes year by itself 1

Every morning the year is wrong. I reset it, I check it, it is fine. The next morning it has advanced 6 years, 28 years, or whatever it feels like.

I have reinitialized and reprogrammed, but no use. It still changes the year by the next morning. The clock is always correct.

Originally installed in 2002. It started having this problem in 2004.

Anyone ever have this problem? Any suggestions?

A couple of things come to mind. Put the VM under clock control or manual control instead of PBX control. Turn off CID clock updating on the PBX that you forgot to mention which model you had. It could be getting some bad info from the PBX or just have a bad clock.
