Panasonic KXT-308 System Programming

We have an old Panasonic KXT-308 system. I can't see a function I need to change, anywhere in the installation / user guide.

When our main switchboard phone (ext 21) is in use, external calls ring on another extension (and then on another if THAT one is in use). How do I change the number of rings BEFORE the call is transferred to that other extention. Presently it about 15 rings - by which time the person has given up and hung-up!

Help!!
