Panasonic kx-tva50 voicemail question

Hello, got a ticket to make some minor changes to a kx-tva50 voicemail system connected to a kx-tda100 phone system. I've got the tda100 maintenance console program software loaded on my laptop
and my question is can I make program changes to the voicemail system through the tda100 maintenance console program or do I need to connect the laptop directly to the tva50? Wish I had more time to read and research but my office has scheduled this for this week.
Also being a Nortel/Avaya technician doesn't help much as my knowledge of Panasonic systems is quite limited. Many thanks in advance for your patience and replies.

No you need maint console for voicemail.
You may also find that your software on your laptop does not work on this location you may get now here better hope original installer did not change all the passwords also if you have not read the manuals or done the week of training you could really screw this customers system up!

Thanks for the quick reply cwc3. Luckily customer had the necessary software and passwords. Was able to make changes with no trouble.
