I had a computer program this morning (spilled coffee) and in the process of wiping it up I disconnected some appliances, like my USB drive, etc. All are back running OK except the panasonic phone. I followed their instructions about registering the phone (not sure to what). I unplugged the modem, unplugged the phone etc. I was following the directions here:
All that seems to work except that when I try to call, it's like there's a call in progress. There is either no sound or faint sounds. There's only this one unit.
I've pulled the phone's batteries out. But nothing helps.
The phone line may be "hung". Just read this. And something like this has happened before. Is there a fix?
Any help is obviously appreciated. And of course I'm looking for work now so...no phone! Nice!
