Hi!

I had a Panasonic KX-TES 824 phone system installed in my office and the flashing incoming calls buttons seem no not be working correctly. What happens is that someone calls, the flashing button is under the number of 2 and when I press it there is nobody there. Instead, the actual incoming call is under button number 3. They/2 and 3/ are changed and people get confused. The only button working properly is number 1. I guess that I can fix this by programing something but I don't know what. Please give me your advice!

on the handset in question (if not all)

1. Handset on-hook
2. press program button
3. press the first line button.
4. display should say CO-1 or CO-01 (this means that button 1 = line 1

5. now press line button 2 does the display say CO-2 or CO-02 ( if so then it is set as line 2 )
6. if not ( dial 0 display will say CO.. dial 02 then press autodial/store

do the same for each in turn increesind the line no by 1 for each line you have (do on each phone with a problem

I made it till the end and it said "PITS-PGM NO ->" and I pressed program button again. Then I tested it but it didn't work... Any ideas? Thanks

r comment ""I made it till the end and it said "PITS-PGM NO ->"

when you press the program button the 1st time the display should say "PITS-PGM NO ->" so that part is right

so what happend when you pressed the first line button??

what does the display say ?? it should say CO-1 or CO-01

if not than follow above procdure
if it does then press line button no:2 and so on...

you also have to have line access enabled for each line
on a per ext basis as well programming a sco only will not necessarily give you line access.
