How to add Loud Bells to (2) Extentions...
One of my customers has a Car Wash and needs to be able to hear (2) of the newly installed phones ring in high noise locations.
I'd thought if I simply added WHEELOCK LOUD BELLS at both telephone locations and simply plugged them into the PHONE EXTENTION jack under the phone, that it would work, but I'm told those jacks are for an additional DIGITAL phone extention.
By the way, I wired BOTH pairs from KSU to phone set. Figuring the outside pair (black/yellow) would be for Digital phone and the inside pair (green/red) would work the bell. I'm probably assuming this KSU works like the Panasonic XDP, but guess not. LOL
