I have a Panasonic KX-TDA200 system with KX-T7433 handsets

A number of employees have left the company without relaying their voicemail password - I need to change the voicemail greeting for the new employees.

I was always able to access this by entering 265 #6*999 then choosing options 4, 1 then 3

It will not not accept the default password of 1234#

Is there anyway around this?

Thanks..

When you can't get into the System Manager's Mailbox (999), the only way around it is to reset the password using the programming tool.

You didn't mention the voicemail unit model (KX-TVP, KX-TVM, ?).

Could you give me instructions on how to reset the password using the programming tool?

Voicemail unit is a KX-TVM

Thks

On the shortcuts down the left had side of the screen, select 'System Security'.

On that screen, you can change the passwords for both the System Managers Mailbox and the Message Managers Mailbox.

Excellent - I'll try that in the morning - thanks

I have KX-TDA Maintenance console - in this under option 11 (Maintenance) then option 1 (Main) then password - I've changed all the passwords here to a four digit code

It's still not working though - I take it this isn't where I need to change?

Is the programming tool available as a download anywhere? I've googled it but no joy..

There is a separate programming tool for the KX-TVM.

You can only get the programming tool from Panasonic through your dealer.

We normally get them on training courses or by logging onto our dealer site.

The installation file is 111MB so I don't know how I would get it to you.

Would it be possible to delete the extension and/or DDI from the system, recreate and get the new user to setup their mailbox with a new password?

not without delete and re creat via tva/m program tool!!
