Hi All,

I am really stuck with trying to reset the system password on a panasonic kx-tda15. The previous maintainer of this system has changed the password and left our company.

I have read a previous post by Matt Knight however cannot locate the tool he is talking about. Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Password has been changed by the maintainer, I have asked them to supply it to me as I was not given it.

Take out the SD card
user a card reader to copy off the dssys file (replace the SD card in the system)
Use the management tool to open the offline DSSYS file, you will be able to get the password from there

The programming tool is the Panasonic unified tool and you get it from your Panasonic distributor
that will only work if the system is before v5 as it is blocked in that version

Thanks for the info. Just an update for anyone who is in a similar situation.

I extracted the dysys file and uploaded it to pan buzzer
This extracts the information needed.

I am now logged into my kx-tda15 with the unified maintenance tool. However my next battle is trying to get kx-tvm50 maintenance tool to access my voicemail box. I have found the drivers and successfully installed. If anyone has it or can help i would be grateful. Kevin

Just a warning. Change the passwords on that system
You are uploading the system information file and the password.
With this information someone can setup forwards to premium numbers and run up thousands in a night

Thanks for the heads up. I have changed the passwords now and system is not connected to a modem. So I should be alright.
