Afternoon,

I have been helping a friend move into his new shop which came with a Panasonic PBX system (KX-TD816)which I have customised so it works how he wants etc and all seems fine. The only problem that I cannot get my head around is the night mode, on his old system (same model) he used to press the night button as he was leaving and all incoming calls to the shop would go through to his mobile. I have looked through the programming manual but I cannot see how to divert/forward incoming calls to an outside number when in night mode. I can see how to forward it to an extension or voicemail but not a mobile.

Can somebody point me in the right direction? The poor guy is sleeping in his office at the moment so he doesn't miss any calls as he is a 24h locksmith (looney!).

Cheers for your help.

Dan

try setting a spare extension to call forward to the mobile, it will be documented in the manual (as the numbering is flexible it depends on what the code has been set up as) then set the trunks on night mode to dil 1:1 to the forwarded extension, unless you have centrex it will tie up 2 x trunks, also make sure cf/ans rev is set up with the telco or ther could be issues with the trunks releasing after hang up
