Panasonic KX-TD1232 On Hold Audible Tone

What is the code to remove the on-hold notification tone from the KX-TD1232? I cannot find the answer in any post.

If you are talking about the tone a caller hears when on hold that is in the 990 programming. There are2 parts. Area 7 bit 7 and area 2 bit 10 depends on what is set and what you want to have to which you change. Start with 7-7
These codes are for the uk/ euro units others may vary

Sorry I didn't elaborate. It's the on-hold tone that's heard over the telephone's speaker.

If your talking about Hold Recall tone you can't remove it all you can do is extend the time before hearing it to a max of 240secs I believe.

On hold tone, or on hold promotion? Walk up to the phone and just press the "1" key. BGM turns off.
