Panasonic Digital Hybrid Phone System D816

Hello,

This is my first posting here. I want to see if I can get some help in what I want to accomplish.

I have a Panasonic Phone system D816. I need to buy some telephone to connect to this Digital system but before I spend more money I want to know if I can program the digital system D816 to redial automatically every second until the line get connected. I want to have multiple lines redialing automatically the same phone number until it gets through. When system detect a busy signal it needs to redial automatically.

If that possible to accomplish this with the Panasonic D816?

Using the redial key on a D816 set will redial until the line is no longer busy or until so many tries. I think it is set to 15 tries but am not sure. Can't recall if you can change the number of tries before it gives up.

Look on the bottom of the unit and on the silver sticker there should be a circle with a number in it. That number is your revision number. The higher the better, if there is no circle it's a real old -0 or -1
