Hello, I have a customer with 2 office locations in separate cities. The Main office is running a TDE 100 using version 7.003 Firmware.
They also have an NCP 500 running their secondary office. They have a VPN tunnel between the shops to allow for network connectivity.
The IP ranges on the networks are different. Main is 192.168.5.### and the 2nd office is 192.168.6.###
They have the Network Licensing as well as the Communicator Assistant Pro licenses.
What they want to do is have it so the Offices in the main office and the offices in the secondary can see each other through the communicator assistant. So i installed the Communicator Assistant server onto the main server at the main office. It has linked up with the TDE 100. It cannot see the PBX in the secondary. Do I need to install a copy of the CA server onto a computer in the Secondary to link these together. I'm guessing its because the TDE 100 is on the same subnet as the CA Server that it links well, but the NCP is on a different Subnet. Any other Ideas?
Also, whenever the customer logs into the CA server to make changes to accounts (like linking cell numbers to CA profiles) the changes go through. But the system will either log her out after a time but not notice she has logged out. If she tries to log back in, it tells her someone is already logged in. the only way we've found to fix this is to restart the CA Server, which disconnects everyone currently attached and takes about 10 minutes to reboot. Even when she has logged out herself, it seems to not notice. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem, or is even using the CA Server.
