Panasonic 5000 progamming

Know a little but not alot about these. Trying to help someone upload the program from one terminal to another. One is setup as #2 and the other #6. Do they have to be 1 and 2 if they are not on the 6 terminal system? Do I have to set some parameters in memory allocation or somewhere? When we do the download, it acts like it is taking it but when it is done, there isn't anything there.
