I don't normally deal w/ panasonic, however, I was asked to provide a quote for installation and programming of this system to add 1 8 trk DID card.

this system has been operational for several yrs -w/ 4 LS lines.

what is it that I will need to do in order to accomodate this request? programming/ add'l cards / equipment?

a ntwk vendor is bringing in T1 - and splitting it into Voice (DID) and Data (8 lines for DID, and porting the 4 LS lines over.)

why ? is it that difficult?

I was thinking we could pop in the did and any other cards we might need, chang the programmin - and we're outta there. 2-3 hrs tops?

do you even know if the dbs supports fractional t1?

I called the ntwk vendor to ensure whether their equip was going to deliver the T1 to us first, or whether their mux will break it down into 12 channels - 4 LS, 8 DID.

I am waiting 4 a call back.

have u ever dealt with that type of issue on a dbs 72? ido u know if the dbs 72 has the same prgm as an 824?

I don't remember. we were @ the site @ 5 mos ago, and assisted the customer w/ a dead line.

I don't recall what is in the cabinet.

I thought b4 I went back there, that I would try to have as much info as I can.
from what I understand, thwe swx requires 3 cards for did svc:
did, cpc-b and scc-b.

if the ntwk vendor is providing the ti-did conversion, then I should be able to pick up the 48 volts there.
