palms not sync-ing calendar in MS Office 2003

I have 2 users with different palm devices (one has a VIIx and the other an M505) neither of them can sync their calendar to the palm devices after an upgrade to office 2003. My other portable users (pocket PC based ipaq's and dell's) have not had any issues.
Everything else will sync (contacts and such) but not the calendars. Is this a known issue? I cant find any info on it.
