My Palm V battery completed drained until I realized it. As soon as I connected it to my computer via USB-to-serial cable, it started doing reset. It then asked if I want to erase all data, I originally tried not to by pressing on other buttons, but the screen just would stop flashing. I finally had to press the UP button to do a hard reset.
However, afterwards, the screen just got stuck at the Palm Computing Platform screen and would not react to anything. I couldnot even turn it off!

What can I do to recover it, I just need to HotSync it with my backup on the computer!

Please help! Thanks.

The data on your palm is toast, most likely. To get back to where you can at least sync again, I would suggest doing another hard reset. Hold the power button while you push the reset in the back. This should at least get you up and running again from square one. As far as your data is concerned....well, I hope you sync often....Hope this helps.
