Palm Pilot sync w/outlook 2000

I have a user who is having problems syncing up her palmpilot with outlook 2000
here is the situation please see below...

On Palm Pilot's website, they say this is a common problem, and they say to make sure you have installed Pocket Mirror properly which came w/the Palm disk. I have tried to reinstall this several times, and I still cannot get the Palm to synch at all.

Anyone have any suggestions/commentys? tips???

What version of the Palm Desktop software do you have??
The Palm Hot Sync Manager
Get the latest one from Palm.com which is 4.0

if you use outlook to connect to an Exchange server, you will need to setup the mail portion to synch with "Exchange 4.0 or higher", not "Outlook"...

you would need to reinstall the Palm Desktop, and change that option...
