Palm newbie - Any advice

Hi,
I'm looking to start developing software for the Palm OS. Basically the software is to allow integration with a database system ( oracle and SQL server ). What are the solutions/ tools available for writing form-like applications that allow reading and manipulating data and then synching it back to the main database. Any advice, suggestions, links would be appreciated.

-- there should be a software section, and within that, a subsection for developers. I'm trying to remember other Palm software sites but drawing a blank at the moment. I'm pretty sure that I'll remember them a few hours after I send off this post. I also seem to remember that IBM demonstrated to us, some years back, their DB/2 Anywhere, which I think was a PalmOS development kit for DB/2 frontends. Far as I remember, it was a free download. And now that I think about it, Oracle may have something similar.
