Hi,
I am still using InDesign 2. I work on an extended desktop, i.e. two screens, but have recently had a problem with one of the monitors which means I am only able to use one of the monitors.
My problem is that some of the palettes are still on the other desktop so I can't see them.
Does anyone know how to get the palettes in their default position again?
Many thanks
Sam

I'm on ID3 on Mac. On that, if you created and saved a custom workspace, it's in user/library/prefs/adobe indesign/workspaces. You can trash any custom workspace.

If you just dragged palettes to the other monitor, you can try quiting and launching ID. Then close all paletttes via the window menu. Then quit and relaunch. On the Window menu select Default under workspace and open the various patettes.

You can also trash prefs. On mac it's user/library/prefs/com.adobe.InDesign.plist. Don't know the name or lacation on PC.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
