Hello,

does anyone know why when i save an adobe pdf file as a jpg in acrobat, and then open it in Jasc Paintshop Pro (ver 7.0) the colours appear different - i.e. yellow becomes blue, red becomes green, etc...

I'm running Windows XP Professional.

Thanks in advance!!

Leon

Lennin,

You're in the wrong forum for this question. A more appropriate forum would be either the Jasc Software: Paint Shop Pro forum (forum446 ) or the Adobe: Acrobat forum (forum223 ). The Jasc Software: Paint Shop Pro seems a bit sleepy, so I'd suggest trying the Adobe: Acrobat forum first.

Good luck,
-Ron

I don't know much about PSP, but are you possibly saving as a CMYK file and maybe PSP doesn't support CMYK? That is the only thing that comes to mind as a possible cause.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

Guys

Cheers guys - i couldnt find the PSP forum the other day. Will try the post there now. As for the question - i think its PSP that reading it wrong as MS Paint opens the file with the correct colours.

Cheers

Lennin.

You need to change the colourspace to RGB.

In Photoshop 7.x, use:

Image -> Mode -> RGB Color

Theen "Save for web" to avoid all the extra rubbish that Photoshop adds into JPEG files.

Hope this helps,

Dan
