I've had Paint Shop Pro X2 for about 5 months or more now,
and I haven't had problems with it until about 2 or 3 weeks ago.
Out of no where, it would not let me open the program whatsoever.
Every time I clicked on it, this message would appear:

"Runtime Error!
Program:...Paint Shop Pro Photo X2/Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

I tried restarting my computer, using the 'Repair' button
on the Control Panel for adding and removing programs,
deleting the program and then re-installing it manually,
but nothing worked. So I emailed my dilemma to the support team
at Corel.com.

I just got an email back TODAY.
I was given a lengthy list of instructions:

---------

(You will need to uninstall the product completely.

Second you will need to perform clean boot to eliminate most of the third-party process.

MSCONFIG clean boot:
---------------------------------------
1. Close all applications.
2. Click Start | Run | type MSCONFIG.
3. From the System Configuration Utility dialogue select the Startup tab
4. From the Startup tab, click Disable All, click Apply.
5. Click the Services tab.
6. Place a check beside Hide All Microsoft Services (this will hide Microsoft Services from view).
7. Click the Disable All button.
8. Click ok and restart the computer.

Third you will need to perform a disk cleanup to clear your system cache.

Lastly install the product but turning off some Windows Vista restrictions or running it as Administrator.

I DID ALL OF THIS, ONLY TO ENCOUNTER A NEW PROBLEM.
I'm not completely confident that I actually followed
their instructions exactly, but though the program seemed
to have installed successfully by the end of the process,
this message comes up when I try to open my program:

Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point?UpdateBackNextButtons@CWorkflowinto@@QAEXXZ
could not be located in the dynamic library CoreOrganizer.dll.

This has been such a frustrating process, and I even took
the time to redo all of the previous instructions given
to me initially, including re installment, but nothing seems
to fix the problem.

Please help!

Hi There - this might seem a silly question to ask and I hope you don't take offence but is your copy of PSP X2 an original copy .i.e a legal copy? If not, I think therein lies your problem. It seems technology has evolved to a point where it is possible for computers to identify ripped off/cracked/stolen software. I have had the same problem as you, with the NO ENTRY POINT etc. but ONLY since I have started going legal and refusing to use copied software... I bought a legal copy of the program and have had no problems.
Just a thought...
God Bless
