Paint Shop Pro 8 my selections of brushes/text disapeared

I dont know what i clicked (i just got this package) and now my options for choosing brushes and fonts are gone. I have tried showing all toolbars, but it doesn't work. Please help, this just happened a couple days ago and i really need to be able to make more graphics.

You could try File|Preferences|Reset Preferences. That may fix it. (Obviously any preferences you have set will need to be redone!)

View/Palettes/Tool Options.

If that doesn't work check under File/Preferences/File Locations see if it's still pathed to where they're located, probably C:\My PSP8 Files\Brushes or C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro\Brushes. May be in My Documents, too.
