Paging Zones with a button for the zones

I have a request to set up a button that will allow a zone to be entered before paging. I usually just use the general ALL page on a single button and end of story. I looked up and saw that F61x will then ask the user what zone via the SETS they would like and a zone page is made. I tried to program a button with F61 and it will not take it. I am trying to let the user press this single button without having to press FEATURE 6 1 and then enter the zone. That is 4 buttons to push instead of 2. Any suggestions?

I just did this on my test system. Feature *3, press a button, Feature 611 for zone 1, Feature 612 for zone 2, etc. I'm using a MICS with R7.1.

Just so it's clear…

You can program General Page (Feature 60) on a button. When the button is pressed, the user is prompted to choose a type, then a zone.

You can also program a specific type and a specific zone on a button:

[li]External Page (Feature 62)[/li]
[li]Combined Page in Zone (Feature 630, 631, 632, 633, 634, 635 and 636)[/li]

However, you cannot program something in between (such a specific type, prompting the user to choose a zone):

[li]Combined Page (Feature 63)[/li]
[/ul]
