We have a client with VALCOM SelfAmp'd speakers and they need two zones of paging - One DEPT A and One ALL CALL - why cant i take (2) analog ports of the AURA PBX and wire ANALOG1 to ZONE 1 and ANALOG2 Zone 2 (in essence and they create a GROUP CALL that calls BOTH ANALOG 1 & 2 for the ALL CALL - the issue im worried about is that the will be audible volume lose on the all call.....

has anyone set a system up that way? am i overthinking this?

responses appreciated

Depends on your valcom unit, the do have some units that provide for multiple inputs

so i would like to use (2)v-9970 (or the new v-9972) connected to an analog station port called ext 123; the second v-9972 analog station port ext 456 - when you dial group 555 -it dials a group 555 which contains both ext 123 and ext 456 and all speakers would hear the audio

one issue - can i get both ext to "answer" or do i use 600Ohm Resistor on the port and just leave the port open all the time then when the group 555 is dialed?
