Paging - When it's good to be an admin!

So at some point my employer got the bright idea that it's a good thing to use paging to do certain all-staff announcements and another admin created a page group for everyone. We weren't given a choice whether or not to be in the page group. Thing is these pages tend to come at the most annoying times for me--I'm in the middle of a phone conversation on my mobile, in a remote support session (headset), or in the middle of other work that requires focus.
So today I opened the group administration tool and removed myself from the "all employee" page group. Booyah.

I may have a justification for you

If you have IP phones thare is a limit to the number of phones that can be simultaneously paged.

Unless your site has less than 32 IP phones, it's likely not working as expected.
