Is there a device or a way to go from an analog port in an SV8100 to a 3.5m amplifier?

We need an inexpensive solution for a small school district that has two buildings on the same campus. There is an SV8100 at the high school with copper run to the elementary school for digital phones. They want to run speaker wire and add speakers at the elementary and connect an amplifier to the phone system so they can page to the speakers at the elementary school. Usually the paging port on the phone system works fine to connect an amplifier but how can we run that to the elem. speakers? Is there a way to use an analog port to accomplish this? They are upgrading to the SV9100 in a few weeks and this has become a priority for them. Ideas?

Valcom, Bogen, and Viking make good analog port paging adapters. You would call the analog extension, the adapter answers upon sensing ring voltage, then passes audio along to the page output. These vendors provide excellent tech support and can help get you set up.

Make sure your impedance matches across everything and this can be a pretty simple job.

For simplicity sake, I would probably go with 70V speakers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into that.
