Paging via Command Line Script

Hello.

We are currently using a freeware package called qpage to do our text paging via Command Line through a dial-up connection from a UNIX box.

We are experiencing problems with our paging service provider and are looking into alternatives. Can anyone tell me how they are doing their paging and notifications of this type?

Any input is Greatly appreciated.
