I am setting up a PA system using an E&M Paging Trunk card. The output i get when i page is VERY low. It is connected to the amplifier/speaker on the first pair from the trunk port but im not sure if there are any extra settings needed in programming, or if you can set the outpout volume for that port. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE ZONE PAGING SET UP THE PAGE ON A UNIVERSAL TRUNK CARD TRUNK TYPE WILL BE PAGE, IF YOU HAVE ZONE PAGING SET UP TRUNK AS A WAT. THIS WILL LET YOU DIAL THE ZONES

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

We have no zone paging setup. The trunk and route is built as PAGE but the condition is still the same. THe 2 wire from the Trunk Card goes straight into the input on the AMP doesnt it? Is it a 12V output from the card?

Make sure you are connected to the AUX input instead of a MIC input on the amp.

THanks for the advice....

I have it working now. I had to punch the wire down on the second pair instead of the first pair on the MDF...

UNBELIEVABLE!!

THanks again
